Beaconsfield Road                                                                                                          2007

This house is next door to our previous Bayview Avenue house.  It is alterations and additions to a once plain Federation cottage, adding a floor above, a basement below and a new master bedroom wing in the middle. A pool and pool house complete the site.

The house contributes to the street with its textured stone walls, softened by timber detailing and native grasses, and backed by a building with a large first floor terrace overlooking Balmoral with harbour views.

While the extent of the additions have externally engulfed the older house, the remnants of highly detailed interiors have been highlighted and integrated into the interior design.
