The wrapping paper is quickly coming off our latest project in North Bondi. This two storey rose amongst the thorns sits well above the crowd capturing sea breezes and ocean to beach views across the Ben Buckler peninsula. In the era of big and bigger, this is the "just the right size" house, with plenty of family and bedrooms spaces, high ceilings, and a living room that seems to hover over the ocean escarpment.

There's plenty of sustainable features to, rainwater tanks, solar boosted gas hot water, gas ducted heating, low energy lighting, lots of insulation, double glazed windows, adjustable sun-control louvres, and a rich mixture of driftwood colours and bleached sandstone textures inside and out, and a fine wall of textured in-situ concrete featuring on the street elevation.

A local family has built themselves a Bondi beach house that promises to be warm, private, well loved, and a beacon for light and shade and sandy feet.
