Six Degrees of Separation                                                                        June 2009

The tenders for this house have come in on budget thanks to Corrado Palleschi, the Project Architect, and a very competitive building sector.

The design is based on a three level house, each level alternatively offsets from the boundary by six degrees.  This different orientation of each floor provides a response to the different site constraints that each storey requires.

Off form concrete slabs and edge beams allow the structure to hover and cantilever easily.  Windows and wall cladding are both treated with similar ellipsoid aluminium louvres.
