Pilibara : The Dust Settles

The dust has begun to settle at the Pilbara as the frenzy of building work dies down and the finishing touches are applied to this homestead – one of the first stations built in the Pilbara from 1880’s.

Despite its scale and the remoteness of the site, the project has been completed in a very short timeframe. The project involves the restoration of fourteen existing buildings and the addition of several new buildings plus a new grand landscaping plan and lake.

The historic homestead has had its old jarrah floorboards, sleep outs and pressed metal walls reinstated while the comfort of new bathrooms and kitchen have been improved.
