Whilst Councils and authorities often tend to frustrate developers and home builders, Luigi Rosselli Architects has developed over the last 30 years good relationships and a mutual respect with councils. In turn acquiring many “good design” awards and official recognition, as well as being invited to advise councils on planning and residential matters. A non-confrontational approach to managing development applications with council as well as Council recognising a high profile firm that they trust, expedites and facilitates approvals.

Luigi Rosselli Architects have been awarded a number of council’s good design prizes for work across residential, commercial and retail design due to our good relations. These have included 10 good design awards in the last 7 years alone, including in the Waverley Council Civic Pride Awards, Mosman Design Awards, Randwick Council Design Awards and Mosman Design Awards. Luigi Rosselli has also been invited to judge the Waverley Council Civic Pride Awards amongst an esteemed jury of architects, planners and councillors.

Luigi Rosselli has also played a role in developing the policies and controls that councils use to assess development applications. This includes involvement in a council Development Controls Review, as well as developing site specific planning controls.
